Audiences
Audiences are living rules over Contacts — "ordered before, quiet 30 days", "everyone we quoted" — that stay current as contacts refill. Not frozen lists.
View as MarkdownAn audience is a rule, not a snapshot: define "customers with no order in 30 days" once, and every time a campaign uses it, the rule is evaluated fresh against Contacts — which is itself refilling from your sheets, CRMs, and doors. Lists don't go stale because there are no lists.
What rules can filter on
- Activity — never contacted, contacted before, created after a date, quiet for N days.
- CRM state — tag, board column ("everyone in Quoted"), stage.
- Attributes — any custom field: plan holder, city, birthday month.
- Attribution — came from a given door, form, or Connections key.
Audiences worth stealing
| Audience | Campaign it feeds |
|---|---|
| Ordered before · quiet 30 days | The "slow Tuesday" SMS |
| Column = Quoted · older than 7 days | The estimate chase (voice or SMS) |
| Plan holders · plan expires this quarter | Renewal push |
| Large party · last 12 months | Private-dining / events promo |
| Not seen in 6 months | The clinic recall |
Suppression always wins
An audience rule can select someone; DND still blocks the send. Opt-outs, STOP, and quiet hours are enforced at delivery, not at audience build time.
